Coming in five different trim levels, even the entry-level Civic Hatchback makes safety a priority with active safety features throughout its design and equipment. It’s no wonder that the Civic Hatchback received a 5-Star Rating from the NHTSA.*
The Honda Sensing package is a suite of technology designed to guide and aid drivers to drive better and safer on the road. You’ll find even more smart tech features as you move up the trim levels.
Forward Collision Warning – Warns the driver through visual cues when a potential forward collision is detected so drivers can act fast to avoid it.
Collision Mitigation System – Detects when the Civic Hatchback is dangerously approaching an oncoming car or object and can engage the brakes in order to mitigate the impact.
Road Departure Mitigation System – Detects when the Civic Hatchback has gone over lane lines and road markings and can engage the brakes and steering to keep the Civic safely on the road.
Honda LaneWatch – A small camera mounted on the passenger-side mirror transmits a live video feed to the driver to see up to four times more than using the mirror alone.
Adaptive Cruise Control – This advanced cruise control system allows drivers to set their desired speed as well as a distance interval with the vehicle ahead of them on the road. The Civic Hatchback does the rest—slowing down and speeding up to keep within the natural flow of traffic.
Blind Spot Monitoring System with Cross Traffic Monitor – Available on the Elite model, this system monitors activity in your blind spot and can alert you to vehicles and objects you may be unaware of.
