Starting off the Civic Hatchback model lineup is the entry-level LX trim. Drivers will find it loaded with features, including entertainment and connectivity features, as standard mainstays inside. You’d be hard-pressed to find these same features as standard equipment in comparable vehicles on the road.
Other technology features that you’ll find inside the LX model help to bolster comfort levels inside for drivers and passengers alike. These features include:
The Honda Sensing suite is a package of driver-assist technology that helps drivers driver better and safer on the road. Available on the LX, EX, and EX-L and standard on the Sport Touring models, the Honda Sensing system and other available driver-assist technology can lend a valuable hand when you need it most.
Lane Keeping Assist System – If the Civic Hatchback starts to sway in the lane or go over the lane lines without a signal change, this system can nudge the steering wheel to return the Civic Hatchback to the center of the lane.
Adaptive Cruise Control – Drivers can select a desired speed as well as a distance interval with the vehicle ahead on the road, and this system does the rest, balancing between the two in order to keep the Civic Hatchback within the natural flow of traffic.
Road Departure Mitigation System – Using sensors, this system can detect if the Civic Hatchback has driven over lane lines and road markings and can adjust the steering and brakes to keep the Civic Hatchback from going off the road.
Honda LaneWatch – Standard on the EX, EX-L, and Sport Touring trims, this camera on the passenger-side mirror displays live video feed when a right lane change is signaled, allowing drivers to see up to four times more in their blind spot than using the mirror alone.
In addition to upgrades to the interior to be more driver-centric including a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob and textured aluminum pedals, there are many other technology features that enrich the driving experience in the Sport trim including:
The EX builds upon where the LX left off and offers drivers even more technology, comfort, entertainment, and connectivity features. Some of what you can expect to find inside the EX model includes:
Like its name suggests, the EX-L Navi model comes with a standard navigation system as well as other technology features and equipment, taking up where the EX model leaves off. Some of what you’ll find at this level includes:
At the top of the model lineup is the Sport Touring trim, which combines the sporty and driver-centric aura of the Sport model and continues to build upon the technology, comfort, and luxury in the EX-L Navi.
