2015 Dodge Grand Caravan vs. 2015 Honda Odyssey

We Have News for West Michigan Drivers Searching for a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan…

The 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan looks to be the last of its kind, with Dodge having recently announced that the vehicle won’t be making it into 2016. Perhaps it’s time for West Michigan families to let the Grand Caravan go and focus on a more modern minivan, though. The latest minivan from Dodge starts off with the very basic American Value Package (AVP) trim level that really strips down the minivan of all but the most basic features. The entry-level Grand Caravan comes with power accessories, air conditioning, and a four-speaker stereo. Even its once-great 25 mpg highway fuel economy falls short of competing minivans these days.

West Michigan families in search of a new minivan do have another option, though. The 2015 Honda Odyssey has no trouble outdoing the Grand Caravan on features; high-tech amenities like Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, a touchscreen infotainment system, a rearview camera, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and more all come standard on the Odyssey at its basic LX trim level. There’s more to the Odyssey than setting a new standard for “standard features,” though. The 2015 Odyssey LX has a fuel-efficient V6 engine under the hood, letting it earn an EPA-estimated 28 highway mpg* and fit right into the family budget. Another tool that makes the Odyssey an excellent family vehicle choice is the available HondaVac vacuum cleaner; found on the Touring Elite trim, it can reach every nook and cranny of the Odyssey and keep it spick and span.

We have a side-by-side comparison of the two minivans below, but we recommend you see the Odyssey firsthand at a West Michigan Honda Dealer near you.
