The West Michigan Honda Dealers are excited to announce an exhibition opportunity during the largest art competition in the world: ArtPrize Nine.
Create an original design that can be applied to a vinyl-wrapped Honda vehicle for outdoor display in Rosa Parks Circle during ArtPrize, September 20 – October 8, 2017 in Grand Rapids, MI. 6 designs will be selected for display and put to a public vote, independently organized by the West Michigan Honda Dealers.
Finalists’ selected medium and supplies should be all–weather and capable of withstanding the elements for the 19-day festival. Selected medium must be applied directly to a vinyl vehicle wrap (excludes windows) and cannot compromise the integrity of the vehicle’s value, underlying structure or functionality. We encourage application of the design to take place live during the launch of the festival, drawing additional interest and support for the entries.

Submit your design for consideration, along with a completed application, and optional bio/resume by July 31, 2017. Finalists will have an opportunity to apply their design to one of six vehicles, as assigned by the selection committee. Competition will be decided by online vote promoted through onsite signage and social media – the winner will be announced during the final week of ArtPrize, and will receive a 24-Month lease on a new 2017 Honda Civic. Must be 18 years or older by September 20, 2017 to win top prize.
