Most people need to stay connected whether they’re at home, at work, or behind the wheel, and these standard and available 2017 Honda Ridgeline technology features work to bridge the gap between your life outside the cab of the pickup and your life in the driver’s seat.
Bluetooth HandsFreeLink: Standard on all Ridgeline models, Bluetooth lets you sync up a phone for streaming audio and hands-free phone calls. Just pair it once and the Ridgeline will connect automatically.
Display Audio Touchscreen: Control your media, manage vehicle settings, and use familiar apps via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay through the Ridgeline’s available 8-inch Display Audio touchscreen with 800×480 WVGA resolution.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto: These connectivity features bring the familiar apps of your Apple iPhone or Android smartphone to the dash of the Ridgeline, including maps, messages, mail, and more.
HondaLink: The available Honda-exclusive telematics system connects your smartphone and truck in new ways. Schedule maintenance with a few taps on the touchscreen; stream music, radio, podcasts, and your social media feed with Aha; and unlock the doors with the HondaLink app.
Navigation: The available satellite-linked navigation system will do more than get you from point A to point B; it features state-of-the-art 3D graphics and includes predictive local searching and digital traffic to keep you on the fastest route.
Voice Recognition: Control vehicle settings without ever taking your eyes off the road or your hands off the wheel with the Ridgeline’s available voice controls. Move the stereo to your favorite song, control the navigation system, or make a call with the Ridgeline’s hundreds of available commands.
Technology features do more than keep you connected and entertained behind the wheel. These 2017 Ridgeline’s advanced safety technologies work to help you actively avoid accidents and stay safe behind the wheel:
Multi-Angle Rearview Camera: Standard on all Ridgeline models, the rearview camera engages automatically when you shift into reverse and offers multiple views along with guidelines for easy parking and backing up.
Honda LaneWatch: This available blind-spot camera is mounted on the passenger-side mirror and displays what’s in your blind spot when signaling for peace of mind when changing lanes.
Lane Departure Warning: A front-mounted camera tracks the lane markings and alerts the driver if it senses the Ridgeline is drifting from its lane. This available feature works with Lane Keeping Assist to fight driver fatigue and keep the truck centered in its lane.
Forward Collision Warning: Available radar sensors on the Ridgeline track the speed of other drivers and issue a warning if they sense a potential forward collision. If the driver fails to respond promptly, the available Collision Mitigation Braking System can apply the brakes automatically to slow or stop the truck.
Road Departure Mitigation: This available safety feature uses a camera to track markings on the side of the road and alert the driver if the truck starts to head off-road. Steering and braking control let Road Departure Mitigation actively keep the Ridgeline from going off-road unintentionally.
Adaptive Cruise Control: The Ridgeline’s available radar sensors can be used by this feature to track the speeds of surrounding vehicles and keep pace with them, adjusting cruise settings as needed.
