In this busy world, many drivers need to stay connected even while driving. The connectivity features inside the Clarity allow drivers to pair and sync up their devices and access their favorite content including music, maps, to-do lists, and messages.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Integration – Connect your smartphone to the Clarity and have its familiar interface appear on the touchscreen inside the cabin.
Bluetooth HandsFreeLink – Allows drivers to connect their devices via Bluetooth to access content safely while behind the wheel.
SMS Text Message Function – Drivers can receive, read, and draft SMS text messages while keeping their hands safely on the wheel.
Honda Sensing is a suite of driver-assistive technology that helps drivers see more, do more, and drive more safely on the road. The package is standard on both trim levels of the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid and includes:
Forward Collision Warning – Sensors detect when the Clarity is dangerously approaching an oncoming vehicle or other object and warns the driver to take swift action.
Lane Departure Warning – If the Clarity begins to sway out of its lane on the road, this system issues a warning to the driver to correct the steering.
Collision Mitigation Braking System – This system can automatically engage the brakes in order to mitigate an impact.
Road Departure Mitigation System – If the Clarity rolls over lane lines or road markings, this system can apply the brakes and engage the steering in order to keep the Clarity from going off the road.
Lane Keeping Assist System – If the Clarity veers out of its lane on the road without a signal change, this system can nudge the steering to bring the Clarity back into the center of the lane.
Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow – Drivers select a desired speed and distance interval with the vehicle ahead and this system constantly adjusts to changes in the traffic flow automatically.
In addition to the Honda Sensing package, the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid includes even more driver-assist technology such as:
Multi-Angle Rearview Camera – Drivers can check their surroundings before backing out. And with dynamic guidelines, drivers can maneuver in and out of tight spots with ease. The camera includes a Normal View, Wide View, and Top-Down View, which is particularly helpful when parallel parking.
Honda LaneWatch – A small camera mounted on the passenger side mirror monitors activity going on in the driver’s blind spot by displaying a live video feed onto the audio touchscreen inside the cabin. Drivers can see up to four times more than using the mirrors alone.
Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System – Available only on the Touring model, this navigation system guides drivers through unfamiliar areas to their destination. And with Voice Recognition drivers can input instructions without having to take their hands off the wheel.
