Honda has outfitted the five available Honda Pilot trim levels with connectivity and entertainment technologies that the whole family is sure to appreciate. With these myriad features at your fingertips, you’ll be able to get more enjoyment out of every journey.
HondaLink: There’s finally an easy-to-use smartphone app that can help you access vehicle information, audio files, and even social media streams on the go! Some of the other features of this connectivity technology include scheduled maintenance reminders, detailed Pilot manuals, and a parking location reminder!
Rear Entertainment System: The Pilot’s EX-L trim can be equipped with a rear entertainment system as an optional upgrade, and it comes standard on the Pilot’s Touring and Elite trim levels. It includes a Blu-ray player, an HDMI interface, and a 115-volt power outlet.
Satellite-Linked Navigation System: Honda has equipped this year’s Pilot with a satellite-linked navigation system designed by Garmin, and in addition to turn-by-turn directions, this system features HD digital traffic projection and voice-recognition technology. It’s a standard feature starting in the Touring trim, but it’s available even in the EX-L.
Unbeatable Audio: Drivers who upgrade to the Pilot’s Touring trim level will be able to take advantage of a 540-watt premium 10-speaker audio system that includes a subwoofer. Bluetooth streaming audio, an MP3/auxiliary input jack, and a USB audio interface come standard right from the start, and in the EX trim level and up, these features are joined by Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM, and Pandora compatibility.
The engineers at Honda have made top-notch safety features available even in the Pilot’s lower level trims, and according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, it’s one of this year’s Top Safety Picks.
Honda Sensing: The Honda Sensing technologies include a Forward Collision Warning, a Collision Mitigation Braking System, a Lane Departure Warning, a Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low Speed Follow. This celebrated safety package is available as an upgrade on the EX and EX-L trim levels, and it comes standard on Touring and Elite models.
Blind Spot Monitoring System: An automated blind spot monitoring system comes standard on the Pilot’s high-end Elite trim level, and when it’s active, you’ll receive a clear visual alert whenever another vehicle comes up along your side. This advanced feature complements the Honda LaneWatch camera system, which comes equipped on the EX, EX-L, and Touring trims.
Multi-Angle Rearview Camera: When you take advantage of the 2018 Honda Pilot’s standard multi-angle rearview camera, you’ll have no trouble maneuvering this three-row SUV into place. Even in the LX trim, you’ll have access to wide-angle, normal, and top-down viewing modes, and in the EX trim level and up, you’ll also receive dynamic guidelines.
When you’re behind the wheel of the Honda Pilot, you’ll no longer be troubled by life’s little inconveniences. These often-subtle interior features make it easy to keep your devices charged, begin new adventures, and find your sweet spot in the driver’s seat.
HomeLink Remote System: If you’ve had enough of managing multiple garage door openers and gate remotes, then you’ll love the HomeLink Remote System. On the EX trim and up, you’ll be able to integrate three different signals directly with your vehicle’s control panel, and access them immediately when they’re needed.
Power Outlets and USB Charging Ports: Every Pilot trim level comes standard with two 12-volt power outlets equipped in their front and center consoles. Drivers who upgrade to the EX trim level or higher will receive an additional 12-volt power outlet, easily accessible from the vehicle’s rear seats.
SmartEntry with Walk Away Auto Lock: When you approach your Honda Pilot with your key fob on your person, the vehicle will recognize you and unlock its doors automatically. The Pilot’s Walk Away Auto Lock feature performs precisely the opposite function when you exit the driver’s seat and move away from your vehicle.
