HondaThe 2015 Honda Civic redesign is here for the new model year, and we have it here at West Michigan Honda Dealers for you. But what changes came with the redesign? Well, here’s a quick, easy reference for what’s changed from 2014 to 2015 so you can see exactly what’s going on with the newest Civic.

Changes to Honda’s Small Car

Before we get into the big change for the 2015 model year, we want to ask you how much you would want to change a vehicle that is as popular as the 2014 Civic was? We hesitate to call a vehicle perfect—improvements can always be made—but the 2014 Civic was already an excellent car.

And that’s why we’re proud to say that aside from a few tweaks here and there, the only real change to the 2015 Honda Civic redesign comes in the form of a new trim level to give drivers more choices in the kind of Civic they drive.

The 2015 Civic is available as a Special Edition (or SE) trim now, with features that plant it right between the entry-level LX trim and the former mid-range EX. Features on the SE include:

  • Continuously variable transmission
  • Push-button start and smart keyless entry
  • Automatic climate control
  • 7-inch touchscreen interface
  • 15-inch alloy wheels
  • Honda LaneWatch

Those new amenities are in addition to the LX’s high-tech features that have helped to redefine what drivers expect from a standard features package. Perks like Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, a rearview camera, steering wheel-mounted controls, Pandora internet radio, and other conveniences that many other automakers still expect you to pay extra for are found on every 2015 Civic.

The new Special Edition trim is only available on the Civic Sedan.
